M3 Black Paint

This M3 in matte black paint was produced in 1960 and belongs to the second batch production no.993501-993750. Matte black paint was only used in the first and second batch production of M3, early button rewind M2 and MP original Black Paint. This was then replaced by shiny black paint in the later M3 production. Similar to Lot 68 in our Auction 2 (hammered at HK$330,400) Lot 72 of Auction 3 and Lot 62 of Auction 4, M3 in matte black paint with serial number before #1000000 is exceptionally rare nowadays. This M3 is in original matte black paint and well functioned.
