This thick cake has been well preserved in dry storage, wrapped in handmade fibre paper showing slight insect traces. This early hand stamped version features a bold logo and carries a substantial weight. As the first masterpiece of the Menghai Tea Factory, Red Mark Pu-er was crafted using only top-grade leaves, with a precise bud to leaf ratio and traditional moulding and fermentation methods. Aged under ideal conditions, it has developed a rich, full-bodied liquor with orchid and camphor notes, and a lingering, refined sweetness.
