This lot has been well-preserved in absolutely dry storage with complete original packaging. Produced between 1985 and 1992 for Hong Kong's Nam Tien Trading Company, this batch adopted a slightly looser compression and coarser materials to promote faster aging. Thin wrappers first appeared around 1989. The cakes feature fine buds on the surface and coarse leaves at the base, yielding a lustrous chestnut liquor with a lingering sweetness.
