This is a unique M8 camera in that it has a special finger rest on the right top hand side of top plate. Further the camera also has a landmark serial number and the speed dial is chrome. This is the only known prototype of Leica M8. The camera shows marks of wear and was used as a shown camera during Photokina. It comes with body cap, three battery cords, battery and charger. This lot has been authenticated by Paul-Henry van Hasbroeck.
