Here is a IIIf set with Summicron 2/5cm lens (#1255243) which was originally belonged to Ernest Hemingway, who was a famous author and journalist in American. In the late 1950’s, he gave this set of camera to another adventure writer Edison Marshall while they were both in Africa. Please refer to the letter of this lot for further information. This set comes with a front lens cap and MBROO hard case from 1955 as well.

Ernest Miller Hemingway (July 21, 1899 – July 2, 1961) was an American author and journalist. His economical and understated style had a strong influence on 20th-century fiction, while his life of adventure and his public image influenced later generations. Hemingway produced most of his work between the mid-1920s and the mid-1950s. One of his famous works“The Old Man and the Sea” was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction as well as the Nobel Prize in Literature.
