Here is an original Leica Model 1A with fixed lens Elmax 3.5/50mm. The Elmax was the second version of lens built into the 1A, after the Anastigmat and before the Elmar. Cameras with Elmax occur between serial numbers 280 to 1280 approximately. The camera shows parts of original features of the second version Elmax Leica : non-ratchet wind, with frame counter up to 35, aluminum dial, lever A/R in all black and flat eyepiece, etc. The camera comes with front lens cap.
