Here is an original Leica Model 1A with fixed lens Elmax 3.5/50mm. The Elmax was the second version of lens built into the 1A, after the Anastigmat and before the Elmar. Only 700 Leica Elmax ever produced and it is very rare and collectible. Cameras with Elmax occur between serial numbers 280 to 1280 approximately and Elmax before serial 625 are even more collectible as they are originally structurally a similar to Anastigmat. The camera shows features of the second version Elmax Leica such as: non-ratchet wind, with frame counter up to 35, aluminum dial, lever A/R in all black and flat eyepiece, etc. The camera comes with front lens cap.
