This lot has been preserved in dry storage with its original unopened packaging. Tianyuan Tea Factory was one of the largest privately commissioned producers outside the three major state-owned factories. To commemorate Hong Kong's return in 1997, this batch was produced with the inscription "Hong Kong Reunification Commemorative Cake" embossed on the surface. After nearly three decades of aging, the tea has developed collectible value while remaining enjoyable for drinking.
