Carefully produced with a ratio of one bud to three or four leaves, the tea has developed a gentle herbal aroma and a mellow, medicinal character after years of aging. Made using traditional methods of withering and drying without frying or rolling, it preserves the tea's natural composition, though the leaves appear as small broken fragments over time. Recalling the saying "one year as tea, three years as medicine, seven years as treasure," well-aged white tea is believed to grow in medicinal value with age.
