This lot is the early "Peacock Brick" version from the late 1980s, featuring 100g square tea bricks with peacock graphics on the packaging. One side incorrectly states "Net Weight 100 cm", while the back shows a incorrect "經" character, and the bottom indicates it was produced by Menghai Tea Factory. In the late 1980s, Menghai Tea Factory began pressing smaller tea bricks using higher-grade leaves with fine tender buds on top. Compared to the 1992 square tea bricks, these 1980s bricks have a thicker texture and more pronounced flavor. The edges of the tea bricks are slightly raised with distinct corners, each marked by a small tea nail from the pressing mold.
