美國野山花旗蔘，又稱西洋蔘，生長於美國的原始密林中，吸收大自然的天地精華，生長過程完全不受人為因素如化學肥料、農藥等的污染，每年產量稀少，已被列為瀕危物種，極為珍貴，與中國及韓國等地所產的東洋參並列為兩大滋補益氣藥材。野山花旗參的根蒂較細小，蔘身上有細密黑色橫紋，蔘體較輕盈，氣香味沉。剛入口初嚼味苦，漸漸會有回甘，氣味能久留口中。
