白牡丹茶因其綠葉夾銀白色毫心，形似花朵，沖泡後綠葉托著嫩芽，宛如蓓蕾初放，故得美名白牡丹。此白牡丹茶已存放近二十年之久，成品茶毫心明顯，茸毫色白且多，葉張幼嫩，無老梗﹑枳及臘葉。泡後湯色淺橙紅透亮，質感有光澤，湯水柔和﹑飽滿﹑潤滑，不砸舌不苦澀，回甘持久。
