This M2 belongs to the first batch production, numbered between 948601 and 949100, which were introduced in James Lager Vol.I p.202. It was ranked R7 - Especially Rare in the Leica International Price Guide (from R1 to R10). And here is a M2 with button rewind, and no self-timer, in original black paint finished; less than 200 pieces were made. It comes with box, body cap and black paint meter.
