In 1983 Leica issued chrome M4-P‘s to commemorate 70 years of Leica dating from Oscar Barnack’s first prototype in 1913. The back of the top plate and barrel of the lens were engraved “Leica 1913-1983”, special number A284, with Summicron-M 2/35mm (#3182198), complete with filter, hood, hood cap, body cap, all papers in maker’s box。
