This Leitz Wetzlar Summicron-M 2/50mm lens with number 0000011 is a genuine and all original factory prototype. 14 lenses of Summicron 50mm prototypes were made with number 0000009 to 0000022 between July 1954 and April 1955. The lens #0000011 was completed on 30thAugust 1954. This lens has been authenticated by Lars Netopil.
