This is a unique base plate for M cameras modified adding a SCNOO mechanism (which is a pre war trigger used on screw mount cameras).The modification was done in the 50's by Haber & Fink New York , which made the famous tri lens turret to be used on Leica screw mount cameras. This base plate can also be used either on Leica M2's or MP's cameras. It works perfectly and smooth as a regular Leicavit MP. Unique, interesting and clever modification which might have been done before the start of the regular production of the Leicavit MP.
