This lens was a museum piece from George Eastman House in Rochester, USA. Its museum inventory number is 405046. George Eastman House is the oldest museum dedicated to photography and one of the oldest film archives in the world. It was built by George Eastman, the founder of Eastman Kodak company in 1905, and opened to public in 1949. This Thamber 2.2/9cm lens is in black paint/nickel finished instead of black paint/chrome, it is the 2nd lens of the production. Lens tube painted “405046” and “EASTMAN. L” with rear lens cap and spot filter.
