Here is a very rare M2 made in Canada. It was ranked R9 (almost unique) in the Leica International Price Guide; as around 1,500 units were made only. The word “M2” engraved on top plate is bigger than those made in Germany, with “Ernst Leitz Canada Limited Midland Ontario” engraved on top plate. It comes with a Summarit-M 1.5/5cm lens (#1419685), which made in Canada as well, and front lens cap.
