Here is a very rare Leica Ig in Olive Nr. 987413. When German Military was re-installed after 1956 (Bundeswehr), mostly Leica M cameras were used, of which those in olive finish are very well known. Besides, also individual units of Leica IIIf, IIIg, Ig and M2 were supplied in chrome finish. Of which – however – the IIIg as well as the Ig cameras were fitted with in olive green vulcanite. The camera for sale here is in very beautiful original finish, carrying a square golden sticker with German Eagle on the rear side of the top plate. It comes with a short-mount Hektor 4.5/135mm (#1659483), engraved “Bundeseigentum 12-121-5864”, TZOON tube, 135mm bright line finder and front lens cap.
