Stereo Elmar 3.5/3.5cm Prototype with IIIcK Grey

Leitz Wetzlar original gray Leica IIIcK No. 390522K with very rare Stereo-Elmar 3.5/3.5cm lens OWENO No. 567082. The 3.5 cm wartime Stereo lenses are the forerunners of what after the war turned into the 3.3 cm Stemar project. Extremely rare is the OTEMO beamsplitter, of which unit No. 5025 is included in this lot. Only about 40 units of the wartime Stereo lenses were ever completed. Of particular interest with the Stereo lens unit here is the fact that it lacks the receptacle for holding the arm of Stereo VIDOM viewfinder. Compare Lager Vol. III (accessories) p.277-282. The camera is in original gray paint conditions. Two custom flash sockets have been added to the top plate-rear side. Camera, Stereo-lens and beamsplitter have been authenticated by Lars Netopil. It comes with front lens cap.
