Serial no.MP-90,1956-1957,Condition B+
Initially, Leica early MP was custom-made for limited professional photographers and reporters. With Leicavit, the user can quickly shoot up to two frames per second without taking the camera away from their eyes so that the decisive moments can be quickly recorded. Only around 138 units were produced during 1956-1957 with serial numbers starting from MP-013 to MP-150. (Please refer to James Lager Vol. IP.193 for further illustrations). This camera is made in original black paint. The serial number engraved at the bottom matches that of the body. It comes with a Summicron-M 2/5m black painted lens in raw brass mount (#1468971), leicavit and front lens cap; extremely rare.
