This lot has been preserved in dry storage with intact packaging. The cakes are wrapped in thin paper without inner tickets, but with description tickets printed in traditional Chinese characters. The first and last cakes are reinforced with cotton paper for added protection. Produced in the early 1990s by the Menghai Tea Factory using the classic 7542 formula, this version was exported to Taiwan during the same period as the 88 Pu-er. It has developed the distinctive aroma and flavour of aged Pu-er, offering collectors an alternative way to experience the essence of 88 Pu-er.
