This naturally preserved lot belongs to the rare early Blue Mark collection. The packaging was initially labeled with "Grade A" or "Grade B" to indicate grading, but these markings were eventually covered with blue ink, as all the tea cakes were of exceptional quality. This resulted in the name "Blue Mark", placing it alongside the esteemed Red Mark teas. The tea cakes feature shiny, thick leaves with prominent buds and a deeply embedded inner ticket. Due to their limited market supply, the value of Blue Mark teas has steadily increased over time.
