This lot features a special printing with a red dot near the character "中". The flaw is caused by the carving and adjustment of the wooden molds used during production, which have become a basis for dating the tea cakes. Not only is its packaging complete and intact. Early Red Mark Pu-er is almost on par with Grade A Red Mark Pu-er. After over 70 years of aging in dry storage, its maturation is excellent, resulting in a mild yet profound flavor. This particular lot is especially hard to come by, at L&H's 2019 Spring Auction, lot 123 sold for a record-breaking HKD 1.05 million, underscoring its historical and collectible value.
