This lot displays the characteristics of Cultural Revolution bricks, made from coarse grade 5 leaves that were heavily wet-piled and pressed. It has a sprinkle of black tea powder on the surface and a distinct linen texture on the back. Originally purchased by Hong Kong Yi An Tea Factory, it was repackaged in beige wax paper marked with white-on-green text. After over forty years of aging, the aroma has evolved from ginseng notes to a rich, deep fragrance.
