此鏡是當年徠卡為1964年東京奧運而研發，用於Visoflex II上的Telyt-M 8/400mm原型版鏡頭，鏡頭編號不在正常生產序列之中，總產量不多於30支，後期的量產版本已改為6.8/400mm，原裝罕有。鏡頭配有前後蓋，己經過Lars Netopil (Wetzlar)鑑定。
